Materials:

Chromium, a chemical element.
Chrome plating, a process of surfacing with chromium.

 Kodachrome

...is a brand name for a non-substantive, color reversal film introduced by Eastman Kodak in 1935. It was one of the first successful color materials and was used for both cinematography and still photography.

The Kodak 1922 Kodachrome Film Test '..was filmed at the Paragon Studios in Fort Lee, N.J. in the summer of 1922, by the inventor of the process John G. Capstaff.  The models include actress Hope Hampton.. who was married to Jules Brulatour, her manager and the exclusive distributor for Kodak film; Mary Eaton.. and Mae Murray. It's possible.. that Clarence Brown assisted in the filming of these shots, as he was concurrently directing Hampton in The Light in the Dark at the same studio...'

The title of the planned film based around the slides, for which there's an official trailer is Kodachrome - A Documentary. The trailer currently has 395, 259 views on YouTube, with 647 thumbs up and 105 thumbs down.

The title of the May 5th 2015 event is BeWitness.

The majority of the time in the documentary trailer is not, in any respect, devoted to 'Roswell'. There is just one mention of  'Roswell Air Force Base' in the 3 minutes 24 seconds of content.

The majority of the content of the BeWitness event was not discussing 'Roswell', or in any other way emphasising a connection between the Kodachrome (K) slides and 'Roswell'.

Prior to May 5th 2015, the individual who had done the most to promote a link between the K slides discovery and 'Roswell' was a man named Anthony Bragalia. This man does not feature in the documentary trailer and did not take part in the BeWitness presentation, in Mexico. Jaime Maussan, who was at the forefront of BeWitness, had not heard of Mr.Bragalia before May 2015.

Mr.Bragalia has not - to my knowledge/in my opinion - properly explained why he was so emphatic about there being a significant link between the K slides and 'Roswell'.

The fanatical UFO-DISSipators and their motley crew of fellow travellers, who denigrated the K slides discovery and attacked the presenters of the BeWitness event, were eager to emphasize 'Roswell'. They used this word as a primary, indoctrinating/thought-narrowing tool of their mission. And, Mr.Bragalia's earlier pronouncements in this regard helped prepare the ground for their warped over-emphasis on 'Roswell' to seem more credible than it might otherwise have done.

In 1938, while making a film in which she co-starred, called The Road to Reno, Hope Hampton had an experience that later in the century would come to be considered a UFO encounter. A fast-moving yellow object approached her through the sky, then shot a ray of light directly onto her.

In the winter of 1976-1977, Hope sighted '..the exact same type of UFO..' through a window of her Park Avenue, Manhattan apartment.

Details of Hope Hampton's two extraordinary UFO sightings can be found in an article by Timothy Green Beckley, published in Saga UFO Report, June 1977.
